Flipkart VS Ebay

Online shopping has become the hottest trend these days!
We incline to shop online for varied reasons. One such reason is the variety of products that is available online. Another good reason would be our lazy bones embarked! Our mind says "come on here it is".

Kids... These days..!!
Cash on Delivery is a boon to these brats...
Goes shopping with mom...
Gets tempted to all weird items.
Mummy says No to all costly items...
Few days later the same item is delivered with Cash on Delivery option.
The kid will lethargically say “pay them mommy”

So coming to these famous online portals. With the formal entry of Amazon, the world's largest online retailer into India, buyers have another option, besides the two best known entities -Ebay and Flipkart

On Ebay, prices and discounts are decided by distinct sellers. Therefore, there are diverse price options for the same product - if a product is available for a particular price one day, it isn't necessary it would cost the same a day later. The prices on Ebay are slightly higher. This is where Flipkart grooves.

For those looking for cash-on-delivery, Flipkart could be a better option. It mentions cash-on-delivery as a mode of payment, along with credit cards, debit cards and net banking, unlike Amazon, which doesn't allow such payments for all items. Of course, the deal could be a bit expensive, as Flipkart has fewer stocks compared to Ebay.  Also, it levies a delivery charge. On Ebay, the cash-on-delivery option is available only if a seller offers it. If you are staying in India you can go for Flipkart. It has good reviews and fast service.

Flipkart maintains own inventory whereas here sellers maintain the inventory hence Ebay charges some commission which ultimately buyers pay for example for what you pay depends on

Price of the product = EBay’s income + sellers income.

Eventually it is the seller who will lose business to other shopping sites because of higher selling charges on Ebay. Customer out there wants to buy at the economical rates possible and if we cannot provide that to him, he will move on and buy from where he get at the best rates.

Ebay should very quickly think about this situation and drop its seller fees and paispay charges so that it can offer goods to the buyer at competitive rates otherwise it will lose out in the long run.

Also consider that more and more online selling portals are opening everyday and the buyer is getting better rates so what is Ebay waiting for, now is the right time to decrease the selling fees and everybody makes more money.

Basically both Flipkart and Ebay offer you a good deal in many ways.  Ebay & Flipkart both are good just check the price in both, whichever is proposing lesser amount,  shop from there :)
